Stephen joins the Encore APAC team heading the IT Deparment including IT Helpdesk, services, systems, infrastructure and projects.
As Director Information Technology Stephen is responsible for the management, implementation, and usability of information and computer technologies to support the business. Stephen also works with Encore’s executive team to develop a strategic vision for the enterprise and drive the business’ current and future technology objectives.
Stephen has previously held positions as Head Technical Services (APAC), PMY working with SuperCars and the Australian Turf Club here in Sydney, Managing Director of Lakekist Consultancy delivering technology solutions to some of the worlds largest Hospitality, Sports and Entertainment organisations and Director Building Services (ELV) overseeing all technology for the $4.5billion Wynn Palace development in Macau, China.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Microelectronic Engineering), Electrical Fitter (Instrumentation) Trade as well as a Certificate IV Risk Management, Certificate IV Electrical Studies, Certificate IV Process Instrumentation, Prince 2, CMMI, PMBOK and BISCI, and is currently working on a Masters of Business Administration.
As Managing Director of Encore Event Technologies in the Asia Pacific region, I am responsible for supporting our team, partners and customers with a focus on driving the business forward, growing our customer base and ensuring we build a global network of support to deliver World Class Service.
I have been with the business since 2000, starting from a technical role across the US and Caribbean, and as Group Operations Director – EMEA, supporting the PSAV Family of Companies across our International portfolio. During my time in the role, I was responsible for bringing together a diverse group of companies into a united brand.

Scott holds a Master of Business Administration and Management, and a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science in, Business Management and Entrepreneurship, both earned at Texas A&M University. He joins us from the UK with his lovely wife and two amazing boys.
My role as Chief Financial Officer for Encore Event Technologies sees me responsible for the financial management of the organisation, providing informed insights and guidance on all budgetary decisions affecting the business.
As part of the executive management team I am responsible for planning, implementation, managing and running of all finance activities, including planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.
I work with a close-knit team of passionate professionals. I enjoy supporting them, watching them evolve and grow in their roles to reach their full potential. I encourage each team member to run their own race but remain available to provide guidance and support where necessary.
I have prior experience in the media and entertainment industry, working for television and radio.
Malcolm holds a Bachelor of Business/Commerce from University of NSW and completed an Associate Degree from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
As the Regional General Manager for Asia, I oversee our operations in Bangkok, Seoul, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
I started my career with Encore as an AV technician in 2005 and progressed to become a Senior Venue Director with experience in running venues ranging from boutique hotels to sporting stadiums. Eventually I was appointed to the role of Venue Services Manager looking after 17 hotels in NSW before taking on my current role in 2019.
My understanding of our business and what is required to ensure professional service delivery in premium venues has taught me the importance of building and supporting a great team who are passionate about events while having a client centred approach to everything we do.
Asia is one of Encore’s newest regions, with amazing potential for our unique offering and I am excited to help strengthen and grow our presence, partnership by partnership, while delivering world class events.
Marco holds a Diploma of Management from the Australian Institute of Management.
